Aspen Day Use Area

<p>This site accesses the Deschutes River as well access to the <a href="https://www.fs.usda.gov/recarea/deschutes/recarea/?recid=38338">Deschutes River Trail</a>. There is a boat launch at this day use area, picnic tables and a restroom.</p><p>Motors are <strong>prohibited</strong> on the Deschutes River from Aspen boat ramp to the north end of Lava Island. Dogs must be <strong>on leash </strong>at all trailheads throughout the year and on the Deschutes River Trail from May 15-September 15.</p><p><strong>Recreation Fee Site:</strong> Parking at this site requires a recreation pass. Passes are NOT available at this site, but can be purchased from Forest Service offices or vendors.
